The Newport Mooring Association was directly responsible for:
- The Shuttle Dinghy Pilot Program with the City of Newport Beach at Marina Park
- Reopening access to the Harbor Patrol dinghy dock and public slips
- Revised Mooring Permit forms that reflect mooring permittees' input
- Reinstatement of mooring transferability
- Transparency of mooring availability through the City's website
