Membership and Donations

Who can become an NMA member? Any tidelands user,  mooring permittee, or dock permittee who believes in fair rates and terms for all recreational tidelands users.

Why is your membership important? Simply put, your $125 membership and donations help the Newport Mooring Association as we work to protect your rights as a tidelands permittee or potential permittee.  We are 100% volunteer run, meaning all donations go straight to operating costs, legal research, and advocacy.

The need for legal and other professional expertise has never been more critical.  The Harbor Community will face significant challenges in the upcoming year; a continuation of the issues we have fought in 2023, 2024, and 2025.  Please consider donating additional funds to support our work.

How long is my membership good for? Membership dues are paid yearly, renewing by January of each year.
